Robert Sternberg As dean of Tufts' School of Arts and Sciences, Robert J. Sternberg oversees undergraduate and graduate education in 23 departments, more than 10 interdisciplinary programs and 20 masters and Ph.D. programs. Dean Sternberg oversees admissions, student services, student life, athletics and development, and works to ensure excellence in research, scholarship, teaching and the intellectual partnership between faculty and students.

Linda WebLinda is an Associate Research Professor in the Department of Education at Tufts University, a Research Affiliate at Yale’s Child Study Center, and the director of the Center for the Enhancement of Learning and Teaching (CELT). Her latest book on teaching is published by Corwin.



Annie Soisson, Senior Specialist for Learning & Teaching, annie.soisson@tufts.edu

Annie New

Annie is Senior Faculty Development Specialist at CELT. In her role, she works with faculty to foster teaching innovation and to facilitate improved learning outcomes for Tufts students.

Annie was raised in southwestern Pennsylvania and has lived, studied and worked in Malawi, France and England. She holds graduate degrees in education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and Boston University. Annie and her husband Prof. Brad Harrington, Director of the Boston College Center for Work & Family, have three children - Maggie, Hannah, and Dillon.

Roberta Sullivan, Progam Coordinator, roberta.sullivan@tufts.edu

Roberta Sullivan Roberta maintains the administrative side of CELT, coordinating meetings, etc and serving as the main point of contact for the center. Please feel free to contact her with any general questions. She received her B.A. from Simmons College in Boston and has previous experience working with Fidelity Investments and State Street Bank. Roberta resides in Malden, MA with her husband Bill and their three teenage children.

Sean Locke, Editorial Assitant, sean.locke@tufts.edu

Sean Locke is the Editorial Assistant for CELT. He is a graduate of Tufts University, Class of 2008. Sean works to maintain the Center's website and assists in the creation and production of the Center's cover stories. Molly Mead, Faculty Fellows Seminar Facilitator, molly.mead@tufts.edu

Molly Molly Mead, who helped establish Tisch College and played a central role in developing its core programs, is now the first director of the new Center for Community Engagement at Amherst College. She facilitates the CELT Faculty Fellows seminar with Chris Rogers.




Chris Rogers, CELT Affiliate, crogers@tufts.edu

Chris Rogers Chris has a strong commitment to teaching and at Tufts has started a number of new directions, including learning robotics with LEGO bricks and learning manufacturing by building musical instruments. He was awarded the Carnegie Professor of the Year in Massachusetts in 1998 and is currently the director of the Center for Engineering Education Outreach (CEEO) at Tufts. He facilitates the CELT Faculty Fellows Seminar with Molly Mead.

Ralph Aarons, CELT Affiliate, ralph.aarons@tufts.edu

Ralph Aarons SmallRalph Aarons is an Assistant Professor at Tufts University School of Medicine (TUSM), and Course Director for the Problem-Based Learning Program there. As an alumnus of the CELT Faculty Fellows Program he works with Julie Dobrow to coordinate the continuing development of the program alumni through twice annual meetings.

Julie Dobrow SmallJulie Dobrow is Director of the Communications and Media Studies Program at Tufts, and a lecturer in Child Development. As an alumna of the CELT Faculty Fellows Program, she works with Ralph Aarons to facilitate the continuing development of the program alumni through twice annual meetings.
